What is Drug and Alcohol Rehab?

Why is Professional Drug and Alcohol Rehab Important?

Substance abuse is a pervasive condition that has a profound impact on a person and society as a whole. Previously, it was thought that sheer willpower was enough to overcome substance use disorders. Now, we know differently. It is not as simple. It requires a multi-faceted approach. So, this is where professional drug and alcohol rehab comes in, offering you a comprehensive and structured path toward recovery.

NuView’s drug and alcohol rehab is designed to be comprehensive and tailored to your needs, circumstances, and goals. While we aim to alleviate your symptoms and suffering, we also plan for the long term. We provide you with the tools and skills you need to achieve lasting sobriety. To this end, we provide individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, medication-assisted treatment, social support, relapse prevention, aftercare, and other case management services.

We are there with you every step of the way of your recovery journey and beyond as you physically, mentally, and emotionally overcome your substance use problems.

No matter what your past has been, you can have the tomorrow of your dreams. You may not yet feel like you are ready for your recovery journey, and that is okay. You only need to take the first step.

Comprehensive Treatment Plans

Comprehensive treatment plans are the cornerstone of NuView’s drug and alcohol rehab. They are personalized to meet your needs and goals.

Behavioral Therapy:

We use evidence-based therapies like motivational interviewing (MI), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), contingency management, and other therapies to identify and change maladaptive thinking, and emotional, and behavioral patterns that contribute to substance use.

These therapies are offered in individual and group settings.

Holistic Therapy:

We offer complementary therapies along with evidence-based therapy to strengthen your body, mind, and spirit. These therapies involve meditation, mindfulness, yoga, art therapy, music therapy, and more.

These therapies are offered in one-on-one and group settings.

Family Therapy:

We believe in involving family at every step of your treatment. Substance use profoundly impacts and injures families as well, so family therapy can provide families with the tools and skills they need to support their loved ones during recovery. At the same time, it offers them support as well.

12-Step Recovery:

We believe in incorporating 12-step recovery programs, as they can provide you with the community and strengthen your recovery. To this end, you will be able to join Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or Narcotics Anonymous (NA) meetings as per your needs and goals.

Medication Management:

Medication management involves prescribing, monitoring, and adjusting medication based on your symptoms, medical history, and lifestyle factors, among others. Medication management reduces cravings, manages withdrawal symptoms, and enhances your quality of life.

Dual Diagnosis Treatment:

Typically, substance use co-occurs with an underlying mental health condition(s). Dual diagnosis treatment treats both of these conditions together for lasting recovery.

At NuView, we understand that every person is different, and we do not use a one-size-fits-all care plan for everyone. Instead, we combine the latest techniques in our drug and alcohol rehab programs so that they can pave the path for lasting recovery and a fulfilling life.
