“Out of suffering have emerged the strongest souls; the most massive characters are seared with scars.”

- Kahlil Gibran.

If you are feeling lost in substance use, or have struggled with your mental health, or both, you know you find yourself in a challenging cycle. The fear of what lies on the other side of this is real - but the danger is not; on the other side of these struggles is a way forward.

At NuView, we foster an open, understanding environment where you can begin your healing with our partial hospitalization programs (PHPs) that are designed to meet you right where you are in your substance use and mental health healing journeys. We seek to empower you from within - mind, body, and spirit - toward rebuilding the life you are willing to embrace.

What Are the Partial Hospitalization Programs We Offer?

NuView’s PHPs are designed to treat your substance use and mental health concerns. To this end, we offer the following programs:

substance-use

Substance Use PHPs

More than 20 million struggle with a substance use disorder in the U.S., and the need for substance use treatment has never been greater. This is why NuView’s PHPs focus on healing persons and families struggling with substance use concerns.

Our PHPs for substance use involve one-on-one therapy, group therapy, relapse prevention, family therapy, psychoeducation, lifestyle modifications, and peer support to enable you to overcome your substance use challenges and maintain lasting recovery.

bipolar-disorder

Behavioral Health PHPs

It has been estimated that more than 59.3 million live with a mental health disorder in the U.S., indicating that there is a real need for mental health care in the country. To bridge this gap between need and care, NuView’s behavioral health PHPs cater to those with anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, bipolar disorders, personality disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, psychosis, self-harm, and more.

Our behavioral health PHPs offer one-on-one therapy, group therapy, family therapy, psychoeducation, skill building, and peer support to facilitate healing and recovery.

eating-disorders

Eating Disorder PHPs

Nearly 9% struggle with an eating disorder in the U.S. Our eating disorder PHPs provide specialized treatment for disorders such as anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, orthorexia nervosa, avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder, and night eating syndrome.

Our eating disorder PHPs use one-on-one therapy, group therapy, body image counseling, nutritional counseling, and meal support to help you break the vicious cycle of eating disorders.

dual-diagnosis

Dual Diagnosis PHPs

At NuView, 3 out of 4 clients realize that their mental health symptoms are masking substance use. When substance use and mental health conditions co-occur, they are known as co-occurring disorders or dual diagnosis. PHPs for dual diagnosis are comprehensive and last longer, but lay the foundation for a well-rounded recovery.

Our dual diagnosis PHPs use cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, medication management, and peer support for your lasting healing and recovery.

What Are the Treatment Modalities We Use for Your Healing?

We combine different treatment modalities in our PHPs to offer a whole person healing experience, which focuses on your mind, body, and spirit. Some of our major treatment modalities are:

What Is the Difference Between a Partial Hospitalization Program and an Intensive Outpatient Program?

PHPs and IOPs are both intensive outpatient rehab programs meant to treat substance use and mental health conditions, but they vary in the degree of intensity and duration:

  • PHPs run for 6 hours per day and 5 days per week, whereas IOPs run for 5 hours per day and 3 days per week.
  • However, PHPs typically last anywhere between 4 and 6 weeks, while IOPs last for 12 weeks.

Is a Partial Hospitalization Program Right for You?

PHP can be right for you if:

  • Only therapy or medication is not doing it, and you need more intensive care and structure for your symptoms (but not hospitalization).
  • When intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) is lower intensity than your diagnosis and symptoms require.
  • You have completed an inpatient rehab program, and still require step-down or ongoing care to ease back into daily life.
  • You have a history of relapse or are on the verge of a relapse.
  • You are struggling to maintain day-to-day activities, like education, job, family, and friends.
