Primary Therapist

about-nuview-treatment-center

Ross Williams holds a Master of Marriage & Family Therapy from the Phillips Master of Marriage and Family Therapy program at Campbellsville University. He is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (BBS AMFT #163982) who works with clients navigating anxiety, trauma, substance use, and relational challenges. He has been working in the field since January 2024. Drawing on his experience in residential and outpatient treatment centers, Ross integrates mindfulness-based therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and principles from the 12-Step model to foster lasting healing. His clinical focus includes anxiety and depression, trauma and PTSD, substance abuse and co-occurring disorders, and family and relationship issues.

Ross approaches therapy through a curious, empathetic lens - one that encourages clients to explore their internal world with honesty and forgiveness. His work often focuses on themes of emotional regulation, identity, self-worth, and recovery from sex and love addiction. With experience facilitating group therapy across Los Angeles, Ross creates safe, nonjudgmental settings for clients to engage in meaningful growth and connection.

Ross also holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film & Television from Columbia College Chicago. Prior to entering the mental health field, Ross spent two decades in the entertainment industry, where he developed a deep understanding of human connection and communication. He now brings this same relational depth into his clinical work, believing that therapy is most effective when it honors the whole person - mind, body, and story.
